This process looks at idea stimulation based on future funding calls that can influence new product development activities. In addition activities can be based around specific technologies e.g. carbon nanofibres or specific clinical areas e.g. ENT.
Specific surgeries are run to help catalyse ideas – these can either be delivered to large groups or to individual companies. This activity will facilitate introductions to specific university or clinical staff to initiate opportunities for co-production of ideas with universities and/or NHS organisations.
We will also look to initiate links with partners in emerging markets for co-production of new ideas based on clinical and market opportunities in those areas, potentially leveraging other resources.
1) If a company has a need to develop new products but is unclear how to drive forward new ideas:

Evaluate funding/SBRI/TSB calls expected or open
Console with other known technologies to create new product
2) Thematic session to fit expected call or identified opportunities for partnering:

Selection of potential partner companies who fit call profile
